Kecamatan Cenrana terletak pada belahan utara kabupaten Bone tepatnya didaerah pesisir Teluk Bone yang terdiri dari 15 desa dan 1 kelurahan dengan jumlah penduduk + 25.000 jiwa.Dengan jumlah penduduk sebesar tersebut mayoritas masyarakat bermata pencarian sebagai nelayan,dimana mendiami 9 desa yang meman merupakan daerah pesisir yang bersentuhan langsung dengan bibir teluk bone.sebagai nelayan,maka aktifitasnya berupa kendaraan air misalnya speed boat yang dibuat sendiri.
